ROMGAZ Amphitheatre within ASE, Investment for Excellence in Education

The ROMGAZ Amphitheatre, a project of the Association of Students in Economics, Business and Communication (ASEAC), supported by S.N.G.N Romgaz S.A (ROMGAZ) and the Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics, was inaugurated at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (ASE). The investment involved the renovation and modernization of an amphitheatre within ASE, and the amount sponsored by ROMGAZ was RON 300,000.

The project was necessary to carry out didactic activities, academic lectures, scientific debates in a friendly environment, adequately equipped and architecturally, technically, and socially adapted to the contemporary period.

“It gives me great pleasure to be with you to mark an important moment for both our company and the Academy of Economic Studies. I consider inter-institutional cooperation in the field of education of young people who want a career in the energy sector to be extremely beneficial. There is no greater pride for the company I represent than to have young ASE graduates in the team who, through their professionalism, are making their mark on the evolution of the Romanian energy sector,” said ROMGAZ CEO Razvan Popescu.

“University education is constantly evolving and support from the business environment is an inherent part of the educational process. ASE’s concern is both excellence in education and research, and the preparation of graduates with a series of skills required by economic realities, expressed through our dialogue with traditional partners, to which ROMGAZ joins,” said, in turn, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics, Professor Silvia Elena Iacob.

The Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics of ASE, ASEAC and ROMGAZ will develop and implement the communication strategy to highlight the special contribution of ROMGAZ for the promotion and development of Romanian higher education.

During 2022, ROMGAZ supported education through educational programs, vocational training, modernization and rehabilitation of schools and kindergartens, and community engagement projects targeting the educational field.
