Vestas Secures 60 MW Order in Romania

Vestas has received a 60 MW order from DTEK Renewable International & Moldova Eolian to power the Ruginoasa wind project in Romania. The order includes a total of ten V162-6.2 MW wind turbines in 6.0 MW operating mode at a hub height of 125m.

The order includes supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset.

Turbine delivery begins in the third quarter of 2023 with commissioning scheduled in the fourth quarter of 2023.

In June 2022, Finas Group and DTEK Renewable International started a new project in Romania worth EUR 60 mln: a 65 MW PV park in the town of Glodeni, Mures County, which covers 90 hectares and will be completed in 2023.
