Cooperation on Energy Policies Between AHK Romania and RNC-WEC
The Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Romania) and the Romanian National Committee of World Energy Council (RNC-WEC) signed early this month a Protocol of Cooperation, which strengthens the relations between the parties in the current context in the energy sector.
The Protocol signed by Sebastian Metz, General Manager and Board Member AHK Romania, and Stefan Gheorghe, Executive Manager of RNC-WEC, provides for the basic principles and objectives of cooperation, the actions that will be carried out jointly, as well as partnerships within the major events organized by each of the two entities.
“The main objectives of this protocol aim, among other things, at mutual promotion of the two associations, sharing common experiences, concentrating the interests of both parties in energy and their connection with the economy and the environment, organizing scientific, business, and promotional events, encouraging the development of a sustainable and competitive economic environment in the energy sector. We consider that signing this Protocol of Cooperation between our associations is an extremely important step for strengthening the common activities of collaboration and identifying new opportunities of cooperation,”, said Stefan Gheorghe on this occasion.
“Given the global energy situation and the existing options, this collaboration helps us intensify the exchange of ideas on how energy policies in Romania and Germany can be adapted. Within the partnership, both parties will promote and encourage energy investments and develop points of view on the official documents concerning Romania’s energy policies. It is an active way of participating in the integration of these policies into the major global trends,” added the General Manager and Board Member of AHK Romania, Sebastian Metz.
