Somalia to become the hottest area offshore in East Africa
The global oil & gas industry has a new player in the market! A 2017 study revealed that Somalia is home to 20,582.75 Km of potential reserves. The results of this research highlight a huge potential for offshore resources.
After 25 years, Somalia is now open to foreign investment.
The country will be announcing its first licensing round at the Somalia Oil, Gas & Mining Summit 2018, (29th-30th of March, Nairobi, Kenya).
To mark this significant announcement, some officials will be coming and speaking at the summit:
