ENEVO’s Fastest OLA System

Complete Solution for Operational Limitation Automation, Continuous Monitoring, and Cybersecurity Dedicated to Renewable Energy Producers

ENEVO Group has developed the fastest Operational Limitation Automation (OLA) System, dedicated to energy producers who want to connect to the National Energy System in areas of the grid that would otherwise require reinforcement works with much higher costs and longer execution times. The solution is based on advanced communication protocols and technologies, using equipment recognized for its reliability in industrial installations and resistance to electromagnetic interference.

  • The solution integrates 24/7 monitoring and dispatching services, provided by specialized personnel from DLC ENEVO OmniSOC, and proprietary cybersecurity technologies that are internationally recognized and compliant with the cybersecurity standards imposed by the EU NIS2 Directive.
  • The solution was publicly presented at an event held on November 26, 2025, in Bucharest, where ENEVO Group demonstrated how OLA contributes to operational safety and the optimization of power grids.

ENEVO Group has developed the fastest and most reliable OLA (Operational Limitation Automation) System, a solution built on complex communication protocols and technologies specific to critical applications in the energy field. The system was presented to the specialist public at an event held on November 26, 2025, in Bucharest.

OLA is a system installed in power grids to prevent overloads, damage, or even outages. When the grid experiences high load or abnormal operating conditions, OLA automatically intervenes and limits the power produced by the plant or, if necessary, disconnects it to maintain grid stability.

Thus, OLA acts as an intelligent protection system: it continuously monitors the status of critical grid elements, and if any of them are disconnected or overloaded, it automatically acts to keep the infrastructure running safely.

The solution uses digital protection terminals designed for use in electrical substations and recognized for their reliability and resistance to electromagnetic interference, which gives them operational stability in difficult conditions.

The system architecture is designed for scalability, so that information from a single device can be distributed simultaneously to multiple users, optimizing implementation and operating costs.

These services are complemented by continuous cybersecurity monitoring, with data traffic across the entire communications infrastructure, from source to destination, being analyzed and evaluated using technologies specific to industrial communications.

The system, showcased at a dedicated event

The event agenda included a comprehensive presentation of the OLA system and the SentryOT platform, the company’s solution for OT (Operational Technology) cybersecurity, as well as workshops dedicated to Security Operation Centers (SOCs) in accordance with the new mandatory standards imposed by the EU NIS2 Directive.

“The accelerated pace of connecting new renewable power plants to the grid can no longer be sustained by traditional infrastructure alone, but requires intelligent automation, continuous monitoring, and integrated cybersecurity from the design stage onwards. As energy systems become more complex and volatile, operational digitization is no longer an advantage, but an essential condition for grid stability and security. Our mission is not only to help producers connect faster, but to ensure they remain connected safely, efficiently, and resiliently. In a sector undergoing constant change, energy security is built on technology, engineering, and digital risk control, and for a system to be used efficiently, technical dialogue with energy specialists is an essential component of the sector’s overall know-how, to which our group is committed to actively contributing,” Radu Brasoveanu, CTO and co-founder of ENEVO Group, stated during the event.
